About Aragon's Car Wash

Aragon's Car Wash is a self-service car wash in Denver, Colorado. It is listed at 1431 Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80214, which places it among the local businesses of Denver that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Denver is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Traffic in Denver peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dont waste your time here. The machine said my card was invalid and when i tried other cards it said the same thing. Theres pigeons living there which tbh i love pigeons but they were actively shitting on my car before i even had the chance to swipe my card. Lastly, theres a dead pigeon wrapped in the swing arm. This is the type of place that is not managed and will probably waste your money if you have the misfortune of the card readers working.

It got my car clean... sorta. When I went to vacuum, 1 out of 2 of the vacuums didn't work because the hose apparatus was simply missing. The vacuum had very low power until I noticed that a door on the vacuum container was open and I shut it. When I went to wash my car, I tried to use the foam brush but it quit half way through and started leaking that pink cleaner from a break in the tubing towards the ceiling leaking cleaner all over me and my car. I continued washing and everything worked as expected but the option for distilled water finish (spot free rinse) simply did not function. The initial charge was $4 which is more than I expected to pay compared to other places.

This place is awful. The equipment rarely works , and many options are frequently out. I have been several times, but this was the last straw. I went on 10/2/2024 and 4 of the 7 options I needed were not working, the wand was broken as well, and most importantly the spot free rinse did not work. There is no information to contact the business to report it, or get a refund. You are forced to pay ahead of time, so don't know if it's going to work etc. It's a self service waste of time. There is ALWAYS trash and debris, shopping carts in the lot. It's a sketchy person campout a lot of times. I love the touch free car wash option, but I will not be going here again.

CAR WASH IS A SCAM. If you don’t put in $4 just to start, you can’t get your quarters returned. Some people only need to clean their mats, it would be nice if this was lowered to $2 and the time adjusts accordingly. What a concept though allowing people to not have to spend way more than they need to and then keeping the change. Will never be going here again.
